Good dynamic pose. Would love more of a description of his powers and background. Awsome job.

Thanks for the encouragement. The premise behind this character was that his strength was proportional to the danger he was willing to put himself in. Admittedly, it's not a particularly flashy notion, but the idea was that I wanted his fights with villainy to always come down to the wire.

Ever consider working on a comic book, or HAVE you worked on comic book?

I've thought about it on occasion, and I wouldn't mind contributing to a comic book project. Honestly, I'm flattered that you'd ask at all.

Well the reason I say this is because I've got a comic in the works. I need an artist to do the art while my buddy and I work on the story, if you want you can always input to. But he's awful at art and I can only go as far as the rough idea for the characters. Get back to me if you want to be part of it and I send you a few character descriptions, your own style is totally fine.

I can certainly hash out some designs for you, if nothing else. If you wanna throw me a description or two, I'll see what I can put together.

Oh, I can do better than a description or 2. Btw, the names Chris.

So costumes, I've never been big on the idea of spandex lol but if the situation and character calls for it, then it has to work. Here as some ideas for the main characters costumes:

A common theme with all of the heroes, they wear the classic All-Star brand looking sneakers, they are all specially designed by Marllena whose character an assistant to a top fashion designer in Philadelphia is allowing her access to a lot of materials to work with. Anyway, so each pair of sneakers is designed for each character, depending on what they do or need to do. For instance, Brawler's super durability puts him at the forefront of most pummels, therefore his sneakers are designed almost like steel toed work boots, durable right down to the sole. Chargers super speed puts massive amount of wear and heat on his sneakers so they are designed along the lines of lace less track shoes. In the case of one of the heroes later on named 'Justice' he wear a special design much like Brawlers but with a unique red, white, and blue design.

Another feature about them is their masks, all of them no matter who they are or what they can do they wear Domino masks (like Robin or the Incredibles), that way they can be carried around with them and if need be can immediately be put on.

Finally, most of the costumes aren't even really costumes, in the case of most of the villains they wear whatever they happen to be wearing, they have no need to hide their identity, they feel if they are gonna get caught for having super powers, it’s not like they can really hide anyway. Even a lot of the heroes are the same way, 'Cannon' introduced later in the story has the ability to generate massive amounts of energy from his hands, by balling his fists allowing the energy to build and releasing it in HUGE streams, he's a simple character there for a simple design he's big, muscular, and lives in a shipping container you find on sea ports, so jeans and a white sleeveless shirt covered in grease, probably torn, like I said simple.

Brawler; He's got the build of an average that would attend a gym like once a week. I see him wearing mostly dark greens and browns, he wears a belt with pouches, and large brown vest, and it almost looks like a cross between a winter coat and a hunting vest, made of a very durable flame retardant material. He wears a pair of gloves that aren't tight but they fit very snug and extend to about 3/4 of fore arm

Charger; Mostly blacks and electric blues, his clothes are very form fitting, he's got a great build, good looking and muscular. All one piece he can wear it under his normal clothes, no belt just kind of blue sash that goes around his waist. His pants are full length but his shirt is short sleeved as the electricity can pour out of forearms as much as his hands.

Force; Again very form fitting, with a great body. Primarily her costume is cobalt blue and silvers and light grays. Also a sash around her waist, full length sleeves I think would be good same with the pants try short and see how it looks. Keep in mid she designed this stuff so she would take the most time on hers for maximum appeal. Gloves for her to, like Brawlers 3/4 of the forearm.

Marcus Saita (the Main Bad); Young, charismatic, always in a suit and tie, very Bruce Wayne in the fact it always looks almost over starched and black, pitch black, suit, with a black tie. Always quick to be the hero to the people. He would speak very candidly about supers, talking down to them and talk out against them. In reality all the good deeds he does and all the 'agreeing with the public' he is in reality a vicious, megalomaniacal, mastermind bent on UNIVERSAL domination. His plan was to create an ARMY of supers loyal ONLY to him, thereby making it easy for him to run rough shot over anyone that gets in his way, but the Red Genesis squashed that idea when suddenly so many people had powers and all his hard work and planning fell apart. Saita himself not only employs supers he himself IS one, he has the ability to, in great quantities, suck the life force out of any living thing with in radius of him ALONG with the Mass Power of Suggestion, anything he says, people do without any control over themselves. Its later discovered he is a clone of the original Mark Saita, who unbeknownst even to him had the power of life draining, unable to find anyone to give him an heir he spent millions of dollars to clone himself (mind you this is back in the 60s) finally they were successful but it died shortly after, the scientist decided to use an enhancing formula (which would later turn out to have mutated ALL future Saita clones, giving each individual one a unique power ALONG with the life draining). Soon batches were made and incase something ever happened there would be a full supply of Saita's to enter the world (Later on that happens accidentally and a war between Saita clones occurs)

Doctor Alden Zemiel (Next Bad and on Saita's payroll); Looks to be in great shape and in about his mid to late 20s early 30s. Hair is gray however, alluding to the fact that he seems strangely worldly for looking so young, in reality his age is at this point inconsequential as he is immortal (His story is still sketchy for me thus far). He wears a doctor’s lab coat all the time, while the rest of his clothes are Armani and things like that underneath. Zemiel is complex character, always opting to make someone else do the work, hating getting his hands dirty yet being one of Saita's top enforcers/bodyguards/scientists, reason being is due to his condition (immortality) he has spent a good portion of existence studying and working out. Finally after what could be centuries, he has gained a superior knowledge of the body, now when he "flexes" his musculature actually causes his flesh to rip apart to reveal his true form, a hulking zombie. Not only that but he can manipulate his muscles to become tentacles. To return to "normal" he needs to be injected with a special chemical that causes his muscles to relax and promote the rapid regeneration of skin tissue. Despite all of this, he remains under Saita’s thumb.

So I think I've given you MORE than enough to think about and try your hand at, jot out some ideas and let me know what you think, I’m always looking for feedback and ideas. I'm glad you said you'd at least take a look and see what you could do. Like I said I’m trying to get this thing published and it helps if there is artist to go with the package, I have a part of the first story on my Dev account if you wanan look it over, its of the 3 before they are a team and before they have costumes so you can jsut look it over if you want to get an idea of the characters them selves and what they can do.

PS - Here are few other characters, I have no idea what the hell they should look like. I wrote them in a long time ago into a different adaptaion of the story but after I did I thought, "hey, I really like this guys personality" or "hey thats actually a pretty bamf super power, wish it was in earlier."

Cosmi Knight; Rides a modified rocket, that can be ridden like a motorcycle. Wields a long black lance and possesses great strength and durability.

Dragun Zvizta; Originally his power made him immune to nuclear radiation even without protective covering. Experimented on so much his body was completely destroyed, rebuilt, and given enhanced ability. His body is massive now, with radioactive blood, and energy blasts.

Steelwerk; His magnetic capabilities are so extreme that he can warp and twist structures as large as skyscrapers. He can also sense individual magnetic fields surrounding a person, allowing him to identify them without seeing them.

Crimson Hammer; Large mechanical arms give him the strength to lift his enormous hammer, the head of which is the size of refrigerator and made out of Infinium mixed with iron-oxide giving it its red coloration.

Meteor Man; Generates a powerful Energy Force, causes him to glow red, fire Energy Bolts, Flight, and becomes Super Durable (Super Durability + Flight = like a crashing meteor)

Fortress Man; Able to become impervious to damage, unable to move while in stone form.

Johnny Boom; Sonic Kinesis; using his guitar he can create different pitches of sound and then using his power can manipulate the sound waves into beams or in some cases translucent solid shapes.

Mister Maximum; Able to boost either Telepathic Power, Speed, or Strength via a dial on his chest

Thanks Again,
Chris

Great artwork, and I can kinda see some of the elements from the CoH costumes, A lot of my characters are inspired from either CoH or Champions Online.

Typical stuff. Super strength, flight. But the key power is his ability to shrug off just about anything. The more selfless his actions, the more invulnerable he becomes. He's a paragon of sacrifice.
